Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 May 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on Profound or using any part of the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Profound.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Profound. Profound is a curated community; we may decline or revoke access at our discretion to protect the quality and safety of the ecosystem.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for the activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

  • Be honest about who you are and what you're building.
  • Treat every member with respect and good faith.
  • Don't harass, threaten, deceive, spam, scrape, or impersonate other members.
  • Don't upload content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, sexual, or harmful.
  • Don't attempt to break, probe, or overload the service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post — your profile, images, answers, and messages. You grant Profound a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the service. You can withdraw this licence by deleting the content or your account.

6. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Founding phase

Profound is in its founding phase. Features may change, pause, or be improved as we learn alongside the first members. We'll communicate meaningful changes openly.

8. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, harm other members, or put the service at risk.

9. Disclaimer & liability

Profound is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Spain, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
