Who we are

Profound is a curated ecosystem for builders and companies who want to collaborate meaningfully in the AI era. This policy explains what data we collect when you use Profound and how we look after it.

What we collect

• Your email address and authentication credentials.
• Profile information you choose to share: display name, headline, location, what you're building, values, collaboration style, future focus, and external links.
• Alignment intake answers and trait ratings.
• Images you upload to your visual portfolio.
• Messages you send to other members and the connection requests linked to them.
• Minimal technical data needed to keep the service working (a session cookie, server logs).

Why we collect it

• To create and protect your account.
• To show your profile to other approved members and help you find aligned people.
• To deliver messages between members who have connected.
• To improve Profound based on careful feedback you share.

Where it's stored

Profound runs on Lovable Cloud, which uses managed infrastructure in the European Union. Your profile images are stored in a private bucket; public read access is granted only for images you have chosen to publish on your profile.

Who can see what

• Other approved Profound members can see the parts of your profile you marked as public.
• Messages are only visible to you and the member you are in conversation with.
• We never sell your personal information to third parties.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Edit your profile from Account, or write to us at hello@aprofound.life and we'll act on your request within 30 days.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, alignment data, images, and messages within 30 days, except where law requires us to keep records longer.

Changes

If we update this policy in a way that materially affects you, we'll let you know by email or through the app before the change takes effect.
